Below you will find an overview of insurance companies and their contributions.

General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic

The contribution of up to CZK 6,000 per year is intended for children under 18 years of age and students under 26 years of age (with the status of a dependent child) with a diagnosis of celiac disease.The contribution is intended for gluten-free food or for the payment of gluten-free lunches in the school canteen in 2021.

Payment documents for the purchase of suitable food or payment for lunches are not required for the application. Proof of the diagnosis of celiac disease must be submitted at the first application for a contribution or after a change in the health insurance company and re-registration with the VZP.The contribution will be provided twice a year, always for the past half-year in the maximum amount of CZK 3,000, based on the application submitted

for the first half of the year from 1 July to 31 August 2021

for the second half of the year from 1 December to 31 December 2021.

The unused amount for the 1st half is not transferred to the 2nd half.

In one calendar year, it is not possible to draw a contribution to a gluten-free diet for celiac disease and to a low-protein diet for rare congenital metabolic defects.

What documents will you need?

Evidence of a diagnosis of celiac disease

You must present proof of diagnosis when applying for a contribution for the first time or after a change in the health insurance company and re-registration with VZP.

The legal representative of the VZP insured under the age of 18 must present the child's birth certificate.

Before submitting the application, please read all the necessary information, which you will find in the detailed conditions for drawing contributions from the prevention fund.

Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company

The contribution to celiac disease - a gluten-free diet is provided in a group of programs intended for children and young people up to and including 17 years of age (preventive program "Celiac disease, hereditary metabolic disorders") in the amount of up to CZK 1,000. It must be clear from the proof of payment that it is a gluten-free food or raw material (demonstrable marking on the document). At the first drawdown, it is necessary to verify that the child has a diagnosis of celiac disease - Doctor's Confirmation form (if the insured person has already used the celiac disease / DMP allowance in the past, it is not necessary to submit the form).

Skoda employee insurance company

For coeliacs (men, women without age restrictions), we have prepared a contribution of CZK 4,000 this year, intended to cover the costs associated with dietary meals; on a gluten-free and phenylketonuria diet, regardless of gender or age. The allowance can be drawn once a year from 1 February 2021 to 30 November 2021. The condition is the submission of an original proof of payment for the purchase of a diet and a statement from the attending physician on the necessary diet (only for the first draw).

District fraternal treasury, health insurance company

It contributes up to CZK 1,000 to all insured persons, regardless of age. A celiac disease confirmation form must be brought at the first application. A list of foods and raw materials that can be redeemed can be found on the insurance company's website. Upon presentation of receipts for the purchase of food, the insurance company will reimburse them. If you send the request for payment and proof of purchase by post, put it in the mailbox at the branch or submit it to the RBP, health insurance company, it is necessary to enclose the Affidavit for the purchase of celiac food.

If you secure the consent to the transfer of the financial contribution to the celiac, it is possible to obtain part or even the entire amount from any RDF policyholder (ie policyholder + max. 9 other persons). In total, up to CZK 10,000 can be obtained by merging financial contributions. Military Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic

VoZP does not have a contribution to the gluten-free diet in its prevention programs.

Professional health insurance company for employees of banks, insurance companies and construction

The insured can receive a contribution for the payment of gluten-free foods marked as gluten-free (code on the accounting document "BLP") or food intolerance tests thanks to the benefits of the VITAKARTY bonus system. The amount of the contribution depends on the number of credits the insured person receives. This system is accessible via VITAKARTY ONLINE.

Gluten-free foods must be marked with the "BLP" symbol on the proof of payment. This does not apply to naturally gluten-free foods, such as meat, fruit, vegetables, etc.

Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic

Drawing within the program of support of specific diets - Gluten-free in diagnosed celiac disease, dg. K 90.0, K 90.2 An insured person under the age of 18 (child) and an adult over the age of 19 may draw a contribution of up to CZK 2,000 once or more from the Supporting Specific Diets Program in addition to the basic programs.

The application for a contribution must be accompanied by a confirmation from the doctor stating that the relevant diagnosis has been made, or a medical report stating the diagnosis. The contribution applies to the payment for the purchase of gluten-free food, incl. gluten-free lunches. The payment document for such foods must bear the appropriate gluten-free or gluten-free label. A parent can transfer their basic contribution of CZK 500 to this program for the benefit of the child. Drawdown: January 4, 2021 - December 31, 2021 or until funds are exhausted.
